Jo BuckJo Looking to Take Home the Bucks After Promising Debut

The Reliable Man three-year-old Jo Buck looks to be a strong winning chance at Te Rapa on Sunday for his Cambridge trainer Roger James and owners A M B Green, G J Jones, Robert Dawe Agency Ltd & Shirley M Trust after a fast finishing fourth at his debut at Tauranga a few weeks ago.

Named after the character from the movie Midnight Cowboy, Jo Buck should really appreciate the step from 1400m at his debut to the 1600m of Sunday’s event and any natural improvement would see him very hard to toss.

Jo Buck is out of the Summer Squall mare Shop Talk and comes from a family which can produce a top quality staying horse with Melbourne Cup runner-up Red Cadeaux, Hong Kong Horse of the Year Military Attack, Royal Ascot Gold Cup winner Big Orange, and Dubai Duty Free winner Gladiatorius all coming from the immediate family.
