Win Beauty Win HKWin Beauty Win Resumes in Hong Kong

Three-year-old Makfi gelding Win Beauty Win resumes in the Yan Chau Tong Handicap at Sha Tin on Sunday for Paul O’Sullivan after winning the HK$2,000,000 HKJC Griffin Trophy back in December.

Bred by Gerry Harvey, Win Beauty Win is out of the Hussonet mare Mandeville and was a $75,000 purchase by the Wexford Stables team at Karaka in 2016. Win Beauty Win has had four starts for two wins and a second to date with stakes of HK$1,888,000 for his connections, and while he looks a real talent, he may find the 1200m on Sunday a touch short of his best with both his wins coming at 1400m.

Win Beauty Win comes from the same family as the Champion racemare Black Caviar and the very talented Vinery Stud stallion All Too Hard, while his dam Mandeville has had four named foals for four winners including the smart Singapore winner Clokey (Swiss Ace). Mandeville has a two-year-old colt by Swiss Ace who is about to enter the stable of Lance O’Sullivan & Andrew Scott, a yearling sister by Makfi heading to the Gold Coast yearling sale in June, and a weanling colt by El Roca.
