Ugly WarriorUgly Warrior Continues his Winning Ways

Three-year-old Swiss Ace gelding Ugly Warrior continued on his winning way at Sha Tin on Saturday afternoon when scored an impressive win in the Age-Friendly City Handicap over 1200m and provided leading hoop Zac Purton with his second winner on the card as he looked to pull back Joao Moreira’s lead in the Hong Kong Jockey’s Premiership.

Trained by Me Tsoi, Ugly Warrior has now won 4 of his 5 career starts and is a brother to the stakes winner (and Group 1 placed) Huka Eagle. The striking looking chestnut was very impressive as he jumped fast to sit outside the leader Winning Vangogh before going on to win by just under 3 lengths and stopped the clock at a very quick 1:07.81.

Swiss Ace has been represented by a host of winners in recent weeks including The Chaser, Hatton Garden, Monsieur Macron, My Horse, Platinum Wild Card,  South Fork, Swisswatch, Tarantino, Upperhand, etc.
