Promising Stayer Suliman Looks to Go Back-to-Back22 Jun 2018
The Graham Richardson-Gavin Parker trained Suliman will look to make it back-to-back wins when he steps out in the Zest Premeir over 2100m at Tauranga tomorrow. The son of Redwood was dominant in his last start victory at Te Rapa after sitting outside the leader and proved too strong for his rivals.
Suliman has always looked to be a horse with a bright future as a stayer and with natural maturity he is now rewarding the patience of his connections having racked up two second placings prior to his last start win and he looks very hard to beat tomorrow with the NZ TAB installing him as the second favourite behind the topweight Peso who concedes Suliman 2kg in the handicap. Leading jockey Sam Collett will continue her association with Suliman.
