Reliable ManOmbudsman Favoured at Randwick

The Chris Waller trained three-year-old Ombudsman (Reliable Man) is strongly fancied to make it back-to-back wins when he starts in the A$100,000 Book Spring Now Handicap over 2400m at Randwick. The only three-year-old in the event, Ombudsman was an impressive winner on the course and over the same distance two weeks earlier when ridden by Corey Brown, and will have the services of another top hoop in Kerrin McEvoy when he steps out tomorrow.

Raced by MJ Wyborn, Mrs C Wyborn & RR Peel-Walker, Ombudsman has been a model of consistency for his connections having finished in a first five position at each of his last ten starts while his most recent form reads two wins, a second, and a fourth at his past four outings.
