A son of the outstanding American sire Mr Prospector and Breeder's Cup Juvenile winner Epitome, Faltaat has been a remarkable success from his base at Westbury Stud with an impressive record since retiring to stud in 1996.
Faltaat has sired seven individual Group 1 winners in his career which include NZ Horse of the Year Tit For Taat, Champion 3YO Filly Taatletail, HKJC Champion Mile winner Sight Winner, multiple Group 1 winning sprinter/miler Sedecrem, Railway Stakes Handicap winner Miss Raggedy Ann, and now champion Hong Kong sprinter, Little Bridge, who has boosted his credentials when winning the 2012 Group 1 King Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Like his sire Mr Prospector, Faltaat has proved to be extremely versatile, producing stakes winners from 1200m to 3200m across New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, United States of America, Great Britain and Malaysia. The progeny of Faltaat have developed a strong affinity with Asia in recent years, a fact evidenced by the Group 1 winner Sight Winner and Hong Kong's leading sprinter, now Royal Ascot Group 1 victor, Little Bridge who has made a significant impact in Hong Kong.
