The Autumn Beacons for Kementari12 Feb 2018
High class three-year-old Kementari signalled he will be a force to be reckoned with as the autumn approaches after he eclipsed his opposition with ease in the Listed Eskimo Prince Stakes over 1200m at Warwick Farm on Saturday.
The Godolphin colt settled beautifully in midfield for Glyn Schofield and as soon as came off the heels of those in front of him, the race was over. The striking black son of Lonhro changed gear and cruised past his rivals with the minimum of ease and coasted to the line untested. Kementari has always looked a horse of immense talent and his second placing in the Caulfield Guineas as a spring 3YO promised he would be a serious contender in the autumn.
Trained by James Cummings, Kementari was bred by Darley being by resident sire Lonhro from the Redoute’s Choice mare Yavana, thus making him a half-brother to freshman sire Telperion (Street Cry) who has just served his first book at Westbury Stud.« Back
